Commercial vehicle body maker Morgan Olson announced that is has opened a facility in Charleston, S.C. that will specialize in upfits for Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz’s line of Sprinter vans.

In addition to manufacturing dryfreight bodies to fit Sprinter chassis cabs, Morgan Olson will also handle upfits on vans. The facility is located about two miles from the plant where the vans are assembled, a Morgan Olson spokesperson told L&MT.

Daimler Vans USA, a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America, produces Sprinter vans.
